In writing this post however, I realised that while the act of writing remains separate, this year I've also been helped along by a nest of fortifying, new writer friends - where one is allowed to mention failure, rejection, impatience etc. How this helps!<br /><br />Have you seen the programme for the London Short Story Festival?
